10.00am Welcome – Teas, biscuits and planning.

Quiet time at individual tables

1.00pm Lunch – Bring plates to share

Gather around to share food and conversation. Time to discuss our writing problems and brainstorm ideas.

​

Quiet time at individual tables. To stretch your legs or clear your head, take a stroll. Wanborough is a unique historic countryside location, walk around the Saxon church of St Bartholomew or down to the Great Barn.

​

5.00pm Closing Drinks  - relocate to the 16th century inn, The Good Intent, Puttenham.

​

Please bring with you:

• Food to eat and share at our pot luck lunch.

• Extension leads and adapters to ensure all your devices can function.

• Paper and pens / devices.

• People find they get the most out of a writing retreat if they have a plan of how they will spend their time – Do you need to outline your new novel? Write the next chapter? Edit your first draft?

• There is no wi-fi, but you can use phone hotspots but this is a remote location and reception might be patchy, where possible download what you need to your computer ahead of time, and rejoice in the distraction-free day.
